In Your Easter Bonnet....

...with all the frills upon it. You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter parade.

Every year at the children's school, they have a contest involving a craft at Easter time. Last year, Tim had to decorate an egg. This year, the contest was to decorate your own Easter bonnet.

Tim worked feverishly on his hat. He used a clown hat that we got from the circus a few years ago, and he put everything Easter on it that would fit, including a large cross, Easter eggs, pom-poms, bunny ears, a little chick, and Sponge Bob Easter stickers.
Maddie chose to decorate a princess hat. She put on ribbons, glitter glue, crosses, flowers, etc. It looked very cute.Today at school, they had a lovely Easter presentation where they sang a few songs and wore their hats for all to see.
And low and behold, Maddie won second prize and Tim won third prize for their bonnets! Way to go kids! They proudly ate their chocolate prizes when they got home.
